8 December 2023 - FBM Research Seminar| Effective Strategies in Academic Research and Publications

December 11, 2023

Abstract

It is a long and sometimes tedious journey to conduct academic research and get the results published in leading journals within any disciplines. While quality as a prerequisite is beyond debate, it is equally important to develop an effective strategy in research and publications. Based on his experience as an author and journal editor, the speaker shares his views on how effective research and publication strategies can and should be developed. The focus is not just on the research itself, but how attention on writing style and fine-tuning of sections, such as abstracts, introduction, and conclusion can substantially enhance the chance of getting papers published in leading journals.
