The Business Analytics Programme will start with imparting to students fundamental skills of applying analytical techniques on big data for decision support of an organization and progress to in-depth studies of various application domains.

Specifically, the BA Programme is designed to:

• Accentuate the essential skills and knowledge of big data analytics;

• Emphasize the translation of conceptual management models into operational business analytics through big data analysis and modelling;

• Apply domains of business analytics and various data-centric scenarios;

• Cover theoretical knowledge and research findings of data-intensive decisions;

• Offer opportunities of applying data mining techniques to investigate and solve practical problems in business and beyond;

• Focus on systematic training and development of data analysis skills and competence in business analytics; and

• Enhance ability to solve data-intensive problems or target-oriented decision problems.
