UIC held an award ceremony for the second short video competition on 8 December. The contest was sponsored by the Division of Business and Management (DBM) and the 15th Executive Committee of the Student Union. A total of 61 short video works made by 185 students were submitted to the competition, with 11 pieces winning awards.
President Tang Tao said in his speech that the contest provides a good platform for students to explore their lifelong learning skills and apply innovation spirit into different fields. It shows that UIC encourages students to be a "whole person".

The competition themed on "U, I See" was launched in September. Prof Liu Wenbin, Dean of DBM, further explained that the variety of students' works reflects the success of UIC's Whole Person Education.

Yan Jialin, a third-year student from the Marketing Management programme, won the best creative award for his work with his classmates. He said that the value of participating in a competition is not to win the prizes but to allow him and his friends to spend their spare time together shooting videos, leaving an unforgettable memory of their college life.
