The Faculty of Business and Management (FBM) offers an integrated business education that embraces up-to-date international curricula; the adoption of interactive teaching and learning methodologies and the latest technology; the application of academic knowledge and state-of-the-art technology to business and management contexts; and bridging the business and management cultures between China and the world.
FBM offers 9 undergraduate programmes; namely, Accounting, Finance, Applied Economics, Business Analytics, Management of Human Resources, Marketing Management, E-Business Management and Information Systems, Entrepreneurship and Innovation, and Digital Media Management, 2 research postgraduate (PhD) programmes in Accounting and Business Management and in Economics, and 2 taught master's programmes in Communication (Media Management Concentration) and in Accountancy. All the programmes aspire to not only equip students with effective communication, presentation, analytical skills, and self-confidence, but also the skills and competencies to develop and apply the latest technology (e.g., AI, machine learning, analytics) into their chosen professions, thus enhancing innovation and competitiveness in both academic and professional careers.
Currently, FBM has more than 3,000 undergraduate students, over 270 postgraduate students, and exceeding 100 teaching faculty members recruited internationally with relevant doctorate or master’s degrees, as well as professional qualifications and extensive industry experience. Our programmes are professionally accredited by a distinguished array of leading accounting, tax, and finance bodies worldwide, including the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants (HKICPA), CPA Australia, the CFA Institute, and the Chartered Tax Adviser (CTA) programme.
Furthermore, FBM is a full member of the European Foundation for Management Development (EFMD), a testament to its commitment to excellence in management education and internationalization.
