On the afternoon of April 8, 2022, the Division of Business and Management and the Applied Economics Academic Society jointly held an experience sharing session. Four outstanding senior students from the Applied Economics programme (Ms. Yuxing YAO, Mr. Lei QIN, Mr. Yipeng CHEN, and Mr. Ruijian WANG) were invited to share their life and study experiences at UIC with the audience. Dr. Darren WENG, Assistant Dean of the Division of Business and Management and the Programme Director of Applied Economics, attended the sharing meeting with other teachers of the Applied Economic programme.

Ms. Yuxing YAO shared her experience in preparing for IELTS and GMAT tests. Mr. Lei QIN shared some valuable experiences in finding his interests and goals and how to plan for his four-year study at UIC effectively. Mr. Yipeng CHEN shared some tips on how to find an internship in the industry related to his interests. Mr. Ruijian WANG shared how to effectively allocate his time in student union activities and study.
