Abstract

In the first half of the presentation, Dr. Yao will present a pedagogical research project EDI and related skills. In the second half, Dr. Yao will present what Birmingham Business School does in the area of pedagogical research, such as conference organization, research funding application support, research groups, etc.

About the Speaker

Dr. Yao currently is the PGT programme director for MSc programmes at the department, and EDB Business School lead. She joined the department from 2013 as a Teaching Fellow in Economics after receiving her PhD from University of Mannheim, Germany. She has published in the area of labour economics and macroeconomics and her research interests also include political economy, interdisciplinary and pedagogical research.
