Experts and scholars on fintech and digital economy

The China Society for Industrial and Applied Mathematics (CSIAM) Activity Group on Financial Technology and Algorithm (planned) held the first annual meeting at UIC on 8-9 January 2022. More than 1,600 experts from academia and the industry participated in the meeting online or on-site.

The event aimed to promote the theoretical development and application practice of data science, artificial intelligence, blockchain and other technologies in the financial field under the digital economy.

The annual meeting was organised by CSIAM and co-organised by CSIAM Activity Group on Financial Technology and Algorithm (planned) and UIC. Experts and academics delivered keynote speeches, attended seminars and roundtable meetings, and visited local enterprises.

The annal meeting is hosted by Prof Liu Wenbin (up), Deputy Director of CSIAM Activity Group on Financial Technology and Algorithm (planned) and Dean of UIC's Division of Business and Management; and Prof Liu Luchuan, Vice Director of the UIC-WingChain Blockchain Research Centre and Professor at DBM



CSIAM Activity Group on Financial Technology and Algorithm (planned) was approved by the Standing Council of CSIAM in April 2021. It is affiliated with UIC, set in the UIC-WingChain Blockchain Research Centre.
