Recently, the National Natural Science Foundation of China announced the results for 2021. Six UIC teachers received funding for three general projects and three youth fund projects.

The recipients for the funding for the general projects are Prof Liu Wenbin of the Division of Business and Management, Prof Xu Baojun and Prof Wang Tian of the Division of Science and Technology.

The recipients for the funding for the youth fund projects are Dr Zhang Wei of the Division of Science and Technology, Dr Wei Xiaoyong of the Division of Business and Management, and Dr Meng Xucheng of the Division of Science and Technology and the Research Centre of Mathematics.

In recent years, UIC has strengthened the introduction of talents, improved scientific research management, advanced scientific research project application training, and enriched teachers’ enthusiasm for project applications. As a result, there has been a noticeable success rate in applying for high-level scientific research projects.
