Stanford University and Elsevier have made the World's Top 2% Scientists for 2023, a publicly accessible database showcasing highly cited researchers.

The selected two FBM scholars are: UIC Provost Prof Patrick Chau and Acting Dean of Faculty of Business and Management, Prof Adolf K.Y. Ng.

The two scholars have entered both sub-lists of career-long impact and single-year impact this year, covering areas including Information Systems, Logistics and Transportation. Prof Chau was in the top 50 worldwide in his research area, Information Systems, in both lists.
