About the Speaker:

Prof. Cheng graduated with a Ph.D. and B.A. from Michigan State University. He used to teach at the Chinese University of Hong Kong, Purdue University, University of Chicago, University of British Columbia, and University of Texas at Austin. He also served as Acting Head and Associate Head of the School of Accounting and Finance and an academic staff at the Hong Kong Polytechnic University. In 2018, Prof. Cheng retired as Dean of the Faculty of Management and Hospitality at the Technological and Higher Education Institute of Hong Kong.
