About the Speaker:

Dr. Xi has been teaching accounting subjects at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels at UIC since 2015. Prior to coming to UIC, he taught at Central Queensland University (CQU) in Australia the following subjects, including Financial Accounting, Management Accounting, Accounting Systems and Information Assurance. He also taught Auditing at RMIT University in Australia when pursuing his PhD degree. He is a member of CPA Australia since 2018.

His research areas are focused on auditing, corporate governance and internal controls as well. Further, He is actively engaged with HKICPA recruitment activities and business case competitions. He has been serving as a mentor for the first year undergraduates since 2015.
