Abstract:

Computer Vision (CV) is an important part of artificial intelligence, which endows computer with the ability to understand images. With the development of technology, CV is applied in diverse fields, such as medical care, education, e-commerce and so on. This lecture will introduce the research of CV and explore its application scenarios in our daily life, such as one-click beautifying, AI face swapping and face morphing.


About the Speaker

Dr. Hui YUAN is an Associate Professor and Special Associate Research Fellow in School of Business and Management, Shanghai International Studies University. She holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Information Management and Information Systems and a Master of Science in Management Science and Engineering from the Renmin University of China, and a PhD in Information Systems from the City University of Hong Kong. Her research interests include social networks, big data analytics, financial technology, and business intelligence. She is the principle investigator of a project funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC).
