HKICPA Accreditation
Accounting is the first major certified by the Hong Kong Institute of Accountants in Mainland China. Accounting undergraduates can register for the HKICPA Professional Qualification Course (QP) examination in their final year.
TIHK Accreditation
The Accounting major, which has received professional accreditation from the Hong Kong Taxation Institute, is the first undergraduate accounting programme on the mainland to obtain this accreditation. When accounting graduates take the Chartered Tax Adviser (CTA) qualification exam, they will be exempt from 3 of the 5 exam subjects.
Government recognition and subsidization
The accounting major has been recognized and subsidized by the government since 2015 and has been officially listed as the dominant discipline of Zhuhai city (Humanities and Social Sciences Group).
