ACCA Accreditation
The BBA (Hons) in Accounting has been accredited by the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA). Accounting graduates are exempted from 5 out of the 9 subjects in the foundational level of the ACCA qualification exam.
HKICPA Accreditation
The BBA (Hons) in Accounting is the first undergraduate (UG) programme certified by the Hong Kong Institute of Accountants (HKICPA) in Mainland China. Accounting undergraduates can register for the HKICPA Professional Qualification Course (QP) examination in their final year, and they are exempted from taking 10 out of the 14 subjects of the CPA QP exam.
CPA Australia
The BBA (Hons) in Accounting has been accredited by CPA Australia. Accounting graduates are exempted from taking 6 out of the 12 subjects in the CPA Australia Program exam.
TIHK Accreditation
The BBA (Hons) in Accounting, which has received professional accreditation from the Hong Kong Taxation Institute (THIK), is the first UG accounting programme in mainland China to obtain this accreditation. When accounting graduates take the Chartered Tax Adviser (CTA) qualification exam, they will be exempted from 3 of the 5 exam subjects.
Government recognition and subsidization
The BBA (Hons) in Accounting has been officially listed as the dominant discipline of Zhuhai city (Humanities and Social Sciences Group) since 2015.
