Professional Recognition

HKICPA Accreditation
The BBA (Hons) in Accounting is the first undergraduate (UG) programme certified by the Hong Kong Institute of Accountants (HKICPA) in Mainland China. Accounting undergraduates can register for the HKICPA Professional Qualification Course (QP) examination in their final year and they are exempted from taking 10 out of 10 exam subjects in Associate Level. Accounting undergraduates will only take 4 more exam subjects + 1 Final to obtain CPA qualification.

ACCA Accreditation
The BBA (Hons) in Accounting has been accredited by the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA). Accounting graduates are exempted from 5 out of 9 exam subjects in Foundational Level. They will take 8 more subjects to obtain ACCA qualification.

CPA Australia
The BBA (Hons) in Accounting has been accredited by the CPA Australia.  Accounting graduates are exempted from taking 6 out of 6 exam subjects in Foundation Level. They will take 6 more exam subjects to obtain CPA qualification.

TIHK Accreditation
The BBA (Hons) in Accounting, which has received professional accreditation from the Hong Kong Taxation Institute (THIK), is the first UG accounting programme on the mainland to obtain this accreditation. When accounting graduates take the Chartered Tax Adviser (CTA) qualification exam, they will be exempted from 3 out of 5 exam subjects.

Government recognition and subsidization
The BBA (Hons) in Accounting has been officially listed as the dominant discipline of Zhuhai city (Humanities and Social Sciences Group) since 2015.
