The accounting programme has obtained professional certification from the Hong Kong Institute of certified public accountants and the Taxation Institute of Hong Kong. In 2015, accounting was rated as an advantageous discipline in Zhuhai (Humanities and Social Sciences Group). Accounting graduates have stronger competitiveness and obtain high starting point employment opportunities in mainland China and Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, as well as overseas well-known accounting firms, government departments, banks and other financial institutions, investment and consulting companies and listed companies. More accounting graduates now hold important positions in four major accounting firms, banks or multinational enterprises. Some accounting graduates have obtained the professional qualification of Certified Public Accountants in mainland China and Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, which has successfully opened the road of their accounting career development. Some students put what they have learned into practice, boldly start a business after graduation and achieve great success. 

More than 70% (2020) of graduates continue to study in the field of accounting and finance. They are admitted by well-known universities at home and abroad, and the institutions are located in Hong Kong SAR of China, the United States, the United Kingdom, Australia, Canada and other countries / regions.
