HSBC Business Case Competition is an undergraduate competition focusing on case analysis in the field of management. It began in 2008. It was organized by the HKU Asia Case Research Center (ACRC). This competition aims to provide high-level international communication platform for business school undergraduates in the Asia-Pacific region, and training the students’ professional knowledge understanding ability, practical ability and international communication ability, and discovering and training business talents with outstanding comprehensive capabilities. The competition has become one of the world's largest international business case analysis competitions. This year was the sixth year that DBM was invited to join the competition.
In 2021, a total of 16 teams from 16 top universities in South China were invited and the teams were divided into two groups. The UIC team supervised by Dr. Minyu WU won the Second Runner-up Award in the South China Competition. The team members are: QIN Lei (Applied Economics), HUANG Siting (Marketing Management), DUAN Ni (Finance) and ZHOU Yiyang (Accounting).
