It is really my glad to write this graduation speech. In the past four years, I have been living and studying in UIC. Especially now compared the city where I work, I find that my life in UIC before is the most beautiful, simple and memorable day.

Faced with the choice of employment or graduate school, I chose employment. I used to be bothered by this question. Personally, I prefer to put myself into practice rather than academic research. When I was confused, Dr.Tang said in an interview with our department that innovation and entrepreneurship professionals should want to do and dare to do. Later, I devoted myself to the satellite application industry, learning new industries and new knowledge every day. Therefore, I have been very grateful to UIC for my education after graduation. It is the colorful classes in UIC that opened my knowledge horizon, and the knowledgeable teachers in UIC that guided me to a new perspective of life. UIC's help to me will always be remembered in my heart. The only thing I can do in return is to pass on this care and try my best to embrace the future!

My undergraduate study at UIC provided me with a solid foundation in business management, so it’s my privilege to write down my reflection. Entrepreneurship and Innovation major has not only raised my awareness of the survival mindset but also alerted me to observe the job of customers and transform their needs into innovation. Even though I currently study health, a new industry for me, I will, and I can utilize what I learn from EPIN and combine skills from EPIN and insights from health.

2021 Entrepreneurship and Innovation Graduates

My major in UIC is "Entrepreneurship and Innovation Management". When I was admission to the first students. This major is similar to the traditional "business Administration" major, but there are many differences in the content studied. In addition to the public basic courses required by the department, our professional courses have studied and practiced the knowledge related to entrepreneurial enterprises from the aspects of management, financing, marketing, internal entrepreneurship and so on. Taking "Manage New Business" in sophomore year as an example, we took "Tecno" transsion mobile phone as an example to formulate strategies for them to expand overseas market, including market selection, comparative analysis, planning entry strategies and so on. Another example worth mentioning is "Corporate Entrepreneurship" in the senior year. We spontaneously look for companies that we are interested in, and help companies assess the necessity and ability of internal entrepreneurship and innovation through questionnaires and interviews with management, and help companies put forward measures and methods to encourage entrepreneurship and innovation. These practical group assignments helped me a lot to understand business and management. In addition to completing group work, I have gained practical experience in various roles within the team organization structure due to my experience in different roles.
