2021 Entrepreneurship and Innovation Graduates
attend graduate school at Edinburgh University
My major in UIC is "Entrepreneurship and
Innovation Management". When I was admission to the first students. This
major is similar to the traditional "business Administration" major,
but there are many differences in the content studied. In addition to the
public basic courses required by the department, our professional courses have
studied and practiced the knowledge related to entrepreneurial enterprises from
the aspects of management, financing, marketing, internal entrepreneurship and
so on. Taking "Manage New Business" in sophomore year as an example,
we took "Tecno" transsion mobile phone as an example to formulate
strategies for them to expand overseas market, including market selection,
comparative analysis, planning entry strategies and so on. Another example
worth mentioning is "Corporate Entrepreneurship" in the senior year.
We spontaneously look for companies that we are interested in, and help
companies assess the necessity and ability of internal entrepreneurship and
innovation through questionnaires and interviews with management, and help
companies put forward measures and methods to encourage entrepreneurship and
innovation. These practical group assignments helped me a lot to understand
business and management. In addition to completing group work, I have gained
practical experience in various roles within the team organization structure
due to my experience in different roles.
