During my time at UIC, I met incredible professors and students who not only helped me with my studies but also gave me inspiration and guidance for my career and personal life. The teaching philosophy at UIC is all about getting professors and students to talk and interact with each other, which means we got more practical experience in the business world. And everyone was always there to support each other and work together, which created such a warm and empowering atmosphere. No matter where I end up in life, UIC is always going to be one of my favorite memories.

Studying at UIC for four years, I think UIC gives me the biggest change is opened my eyes and extended my understanding of the world on my own. I always believe that the impact of the environment on people is huge because it is a subtle change of people, we cannot deny the silent power of moistening things. Therefore, UIC brings us international faculty, rich library resources, an immersive English teaching environment, a variety of extracurricular activities, the opportunity to fully practice personal presentation skills, and occasions to learn how to work effectively in a group. All these make us different from the traditional 985/211 university students in China.

Because we are in an all-English teaching environment in UIC, we can communicate with the outside world in English more easily. In such an environment, we can absorb more information, which makes our view of the world more inclusive and makes our view of things more diverse.

Thank you very much for meeting UIC. I did not regret my choice. In the four years, the English teaching environment has improved my English level and made me dare to speak English boldly. Cooperative tasks and group assignments also help me to better deal with interpersonal relationships and strengthen my communication and coordination skills. Many elective courses in different fields can help me to constantly experience new things, find the goal THAT I am really interested in, and clarify my future plan. If there's one thing I never regret, it's coming to UIC and choosing marketing. During my four years at UIC, the strong learning atmosphere cultivated my good habit of independent learning. Teaching in English made my overseas study easier. The rich library collection has broadened my horizon and knowledge. The kind and responsible teachers let me feel the happiness of pursuing academics... Marketing is a highly applicable major. Our marketing teachers, such as Dr. Charles Chow and Dr. Daniel Lam, are highly educated and have a lot of experience in various professional fields. In class, they not only taught the knowledge in the textbooks but also made us understand and know how to use the knowledge with their own experience. What they learned in class made me more confident and calm in the pursuit of a career. Choose UIC, gain knowledge, gain friendship, and give me ten thousand times to choose the opportunity, my answer is still UIC.

At that time, I came to UIC by mistake. Four years later, I have no regrets. Besides, I feel more grateful. Without UIC, there would be no new self-full of confidence now.

UIC is committed to the philosophy of liberal arts education, where you can broaden your horizons, discover differences and develop yourself. The concept does not just talk, teachers' care, curriculum Settings, different systems, and so on can be reflected. UIC is a professional English course. Every semester, there are quizzes, midterm, individual essays, group projects, and final parts. Each part has its proportion. For example, now I am studying at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University, and I can adapt to my current life very well. I can read English materials, write articles and make presentations with great ease.

There are also a group of outstanding and hardworking students around UIC, unconsciously, you will also be infected and driven. The changes of the four years can be seen by each other, and we are pleased with each other. I hope we will stay young forever and continue to become better with our moves and efforts.

If college is an important turning point in my life, I am glad that I made the right choice at the first fork in the road. In the past four years, I have learned a lot. The teachers in UIC are all industry elites from various fields. They help me understand knowledge with their work experience and knowledge, and I learn a lot of valuable experience beyond textbooks. Now after graduation, I also feel that my way of thinking and vision are more international. What impresses me most is the rich learning life and education mode of UIC. The intense learning pace kept me from wasting four years, and I kept learning various aspects of marketing from class to practice. My homework exercises my ability of independent thinking and learning. Group work taught me to communicate and cooperate, and also improved my interpersonal skills. Speaking of why I chose UIC four years ago, many people would say it was a coincidence. Speaking of life in UIC for four years, no one would use the word regret. The English teaching makes it seamless for us to work in a foreign company or continue to study for a master's degree in a well-known overseas university. Teachers with incredible work and academic experience answered questions patiently; the Peer mentor system enables us to have the help of our senior students and mentors in the same major, and avoid many detours. Abundant group work and extracurricular activities made us not waste any time in UIC. The 1:1 library in the Sino-English Library makes it easy for us to find any materials we need. Perhaps without the platform of UIC, many graduates dare not say that they can go this far today. Thank you, UIC. Choosing you is probably the best decision I have made so far.

Four years of UIC life has brought me a lot. First of all, the international environment broadens my horizon. I remember once having a discussion with an economics teacher from South Korea about the course. He provided a different perspective from the Perspective of South Korea, which made me deeply impressed. Whether in class or campus activities, UIC internationalization always brings me unexpected experience and harvest.

Secondly, we have to mention the concept of liberal education and whole-person education. Related courses include environmental awareness, volunteer service, emotional intelligence, and adversity management. The learning process of these courses is the most "educating" experience I have experienced in UIC. These experiences also help me to hone my will and develop a sound personality.

Finally, I think UIC is an excellent platform for further study. Looking back on the whole process of postgraduate application, I have to say that teaching in English has provided great help for me to have a good foundation of English so that I can easily reach the preset goal in the language examination of a postgraduate application. Under the high-intensity learning mode of UIC, I developed efficient learning habits, which also made me handier in the face of postgraduate study.
