On October 23, 2021, the launching ceremony of UIC's 2021-2022 Alumni Mentor Caring Program was held. 44 alumni with extensive experience in different fields form the "Alumni Mentor Team", which will pass on employment and entrepreneurship experience to the students and help them grow.

This year, 160 school students signed up to participate in the program. They will match up with alumni mentors, and then carry out exchanges and interactions that last for one year. In addition to monthly online exchange activities with specific themes, there will also be alumni mentor sharing sessions and corporate visiting activities etc.

"Teachers are easy to meet, but others are hard to come by". Through the alumni mentor program, students learn from alumni in career development and growth. They also hope that alumni can help students in the work of "passing, helping, and leading". In the processing of sharing, the alumni, at the same time, also achieve themselves.

UIC has sent 13 outstanding graduates to the society. Alumni are the school's business cards and are vital to the development and inheritance of the school. The Alumni Mentor Caring Program is a platform for resource sharing and spiritual inheritance of the "New and Old UICer Workplace Relay", giving undergraduates the opportunity to seek advice, support and guidance from experienced alumni from different industries, so as to achieve a smoother transition from the campus to the workplace.

Professor Liu Wenbin, Dean of the Division of Business Management, and Dr. Liu Andong, Director of Accounting Programme, issued letters of appointment and souvenirs to this mentor.

On September 29, 2021,PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC), one of the Big Four accounting firms, held a campus recruitment briefing at UIC. Several UIC alumni returned to campus to share their stories with PwC to the students; HR of the Shenzhen office also introduced the campus recruitment plan for 2020/21 to the students. Division of Business and Management(DBM) welcomed PwC's visit and hoped to cooperate with PwC in many aspects in the future.
