Internship Programmes
Internships are vital to contemporary management and business education. Internships provide students with an opportunity to apply what they have learned in the classroom to the “real world.” Personal skills and professional skills developed in internships have been proved to be highly correlated with future career adaptation and career success.
Since 2013, the internship program me in MHR has been well-designed, based on experimental learning theories and practices, to support students throughout the internship process. The pre-placement seminar helps students in internship application and guides students to understand the objectives and expectations of the internship. The academic supervisor keeps in touch with students during the placement period, responding to any questions they may have. Post-placement in “Reflection” is a key component in experiential education. Meeting two hours per week during the semester, students share their experiences and analyze what they have learned, which makes it a “knowledge share and transfer” programme.
