Service Learning

The Service Learning Project (SLP) was founded on the belief that given the resources and training, students can make a meaningful impact on the community and achieve their career goals. SLP gives students the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in providing strategic consulting services to UIC fellow students, local businesses, and corporations. Elected stewards of the MHRAS and participants in club activities are to plan and lead organizational projects, work within a functioning organization, and manage real groups, while still having the cushion of classmates and professors to bounce ideas off of or ask questions to.
